Why does the iextend slim version look like a hack/whack job? Like someone went nuts with a dremel and some heatshrink and said "There! That's worth $19".... You guys have to do better than that.

I got the slim version of this extender adapter in black because my alpine car stereo iPod/iPhone cable was not compatible with the iPhone 4 bumper case. The slim extender adapter worked perfectly with the bumper for my iPhone 4. It did not downgrade the sound quality or cause any connection issues. If you have a third party device the you want to connect to an iPhone 4 through a bumper and don't want to remove the case every time, this product is for you!

I ordered this product because I got a new iPhone 4 with a bumper (case) and my iPod cable for my headunit and my existing car charger would not fit with the bumper on the phone. This product allowed me to use my existing charges and my headunit iPod cable with the bumper on.
